Rightcharge helped me make sense of all the available charge points
- with so many available it was great to see a comparison on one page. I enquired about a
specific charge point, the installer contacted me and gave me more advice
on what would work best. It didn't feel like I was dealing with a salesman but someone who
wanted to help. Overall extremely pleased with the service.

How does this work?
Electricity tariffs designed for electric car drivers like the Go Tariff from Octopus Energy can
save the average driver up to £240 per year. A smart charger can schedule your charge to start and
stop in the off-peak period, so you don’t have to plug
in at midnight or get out of bed in the early hours to unplug. Some chargers can schedule for the
hours when our grid is at it’s cleanest instead if you prefer.

What is Solar Charging?
If you have solar or are thinking of getting solar this is a must-have. You can ask this charger to
wait until it notices that your home is generating more solar power than you’re using. Then it will
switch on charging to soak up your excess solar power
into your car.
What is Fuse Protection?
Fuse Protection (also known as ‘Load Balancing’) reduces the power to your car if your home is
getting close to it’s fuse limit. Once you are connected to your installer, they will be able to
advise whether Fuse Protection is important for your home,
or not. Learn more about Fuse Protection here.
