Rightcharge Electric Fuel Card Driver Guidelines

As part of our Terms & Conditions with each customer (the business whom we contract with as a customer of the Electric Fuel Card), it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that driver employees (‘drivers’) comply with the following guidelines:

As a user of the Electric Fuel Card, you agree to comply with the following guidelines in order for your employer to comply with the Rightcharge Electric Fuel Card Terms of Use.

When using the public charging product (‘EFC Public’), you will:

  1. start each EV charge session by tapping the Rightcharge Card provided;
  2. use reasonable endeavours to prevent against loss or theft of the Rightcharge Card;
  3. stop using the Rightcharge Card if notified to do so by you or Rightcharge; and
  4. use the Rightcharge Card at public charging stations in accordance with all relevant instructions and will comply with all operating requirements and conditions imposed by public charging stations.

When using the home charging product (‘EFC Home’), you will:

  1. Only allow charging of your business vehicle, or if a private vehicle is charged you will notify Rightcharge of this via the methods that have been agreed with your employer
  2. Not behave in any way that intends to create a false impression of the actual cost of charging your business vehicle at home

Rightcharge will not be able to track or reimburse you for your home charging, and will not be liable for any missed reimbursements, unless you complete all of the following actions:

  1. Followed the link provided in the email invitation and created your driver account within the Rightcharge application
  2. Connected your home charge point or vehicle, where either are compatible with the Rightcharge application
  3. Where neither are compatible, you must submit your charging consumption by entering the kWh figure into the Rightcharge application. We recommend you do this on a monthly basis. You may enter an updated figure at any time. However, Rightcharge cannot process a reimbursement for any period until you have entered a consumption figure for that period into the application.
  4. Connect your home energy account, providing all details requested by the application so that Rightcharge can understand your up-to-date home energy tariff rates as well as make payments to your energy account

When using the workplace charging product (‘EFC Work), where your company has activated a workplace charging integration with Rightcharge, you will:

  1. Use your Rightcharge card to activate each charging session on your company’s workplace charge points when charging your business vehicle only
