rightcharge.co.uk (the “site”) provides online services owned and operated by Rightcharge Limited (“Rightcharge”, “we” or “us”). Please take the time to review this privacy statement which explains the information that Rightcharge collects about you, how we use it, and your rights in relation to that information.

What personal information do we collect about you?
We collect personal information from you when you or the EFC Customer that asked us to invite you to enrol in Electric Fuel Card provide it to us directly and through your use of the sites and services. This information may include:
Information you provide to us when you create Electric Fuel Card or other account with us, which will include your name, email address and password;
Information you provide when using the site, for example your telephone number, searches, reviews and comments;
Records of your interactions with Rightcharge (e.g. if you contact our support team). We maintain a record telephone calls to and from dealers made in connection with the Rightcharge service for quality control and training purposes;
Pictures and video of your property to help our Service Providers (third party providers of EV charge point installation services) provide you with an accurate quotation and any other information you have submitted in our home assessment;
Your scheduled Installation date(s) arranged with the Service Provider;
Any/all timestamps for actions completed by either yourself, Rightcharge or the Service Provider relating to your Installation;
Information you provide to us when you enter a competition or participate in a survey;
Information collected automatically, using cookies and other tracking technologies (e.g. which pages you viewed and whether you clicked on a link in one of our email updates). We may also collect information about the device you use to access our sites.
Service Providers and EFC Customers
If you work for a Service Provider or EFC Customer with whom we partner, we will collect your business contact details as well as other information relevant to our professional relationship with you. We will also maintain a record of your communications with us.
We may collect information about you from you directly, from your employer, from a user of our sites, or from publicly available sources (e.g. your website).
We will use this information for the purposes of developing and maintaining our partnership with you.
Job Applicants
If you apply for a job with Rightcharge, we will collect and use the information you provide to us in the course of your application to assess your suitability for the position you have applied for and for other roles in the future, and to monitor diversity and equal opportunities within our recruitment process. Please note that as part of the application process, we may also collect information about you from third parties, for example recruiters, referees, or from publicly available sources (e.g. LinkedIn). What do we use this personal information for?
Depending on how you use our Site, your interactions with us, and the permissions you give us, the purposes for which we use your personal information include:
To fulfil requests submitted via the site and maintain your online account;
To provide the services you have subscribed for/enrolled in;
To process and manage your billing;
To contact you about your use of the site and our services;
Where you completed the form to connect to a Service Provider, we may email you to collect feedback from your experience;
To manage and respond to any queries or complaints to our customer service team;
To personalise the site to you and show you content we think you will be most interested in, based on your account information and your history on the site;
To fulfil our obligations to Service Providers and other partners we work with;
To improve and maintain the site, and monitor its usage;
For market research, e.g. we may contact you for feedback about your experience on our site;
To send you marketing messages and show you targeted advertising, where we have your consent or are otherwise permitted to do so;
For security purposes, to investigate fraud and where necessary to protect ourselves and third parties;
To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations;
To organise your Payment, we use third parties to process payments, handle chargebacks or provide billing collection services. When a chargeback is requested for your Installation, either by you or by the holder of the card used to pay for Installation, we need to share certain details with the payment service provider and the relevant financial institution so they can handle the chargeback. We may share information with relevant financial institutions, if we consider it strictly necessary for fraud detection and prevention purposes.
We transfer the user profile data, data relevant to your Installation and possible additional information provided by you on a voluntary basis for the purpose of arranging services to selected Service Providers during the Installation process.
We also process your user profile data for the purpose of Service support, fulfilment, completion, accounting and follow-up assistance of the respective services as well as contracts including additional related actions such as invoices, credit, claims, cancellations etc.
On top of that we use user profile data, especially your telephone number and email address, to send out automated messages to notify and remind you of upcoming cleaning events and services.
We also use data to the required extent to generate invoices for the delivered services of the provider and any following necessary assistance (e.g., in case of inadequate service delivery of your provider) as well as for the settlement of our commission vis-à-vis the Service Provider.
As part of our service provision, we store which Service Provider was assigned to you and the respective product you chose, including the quotation which details the Final Price provided by our Service Provider to you via rightcharge.co.uk
In addition we transfer, depending on the chosen method of payment, your credit/debit card data (card number, expiry date, security code) or your bank account details (hereinafter also referred to as “payment data”), that we collect in connection to the service provided by Service Providers, to the licensed Payment Platform Stripe Payments Europe Limited, The One Building, 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland, cooperating with us for the purpose of handling of payments (hereinafter referred to as “payment provider”). The Payment Platform is collecting, processing, and using the payment data for the purpose of handling payments respectively collecting the receivables from your bank account. There is no additional storage of your payment data. We do not in any circumstance receive or store your bank account details.
We may use your personal data in correspondence with the employer or other organisation who invited you to join Electric Fuel Card.
Our basis for processing under UK data protection law
Generally, we rely on our legitimate interests to process your personal information.
Where we process your personal data for electronic marketing, we rely on your consent to do so. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
We may also process your personal information we have a legal obligation to do so.
Marketing & Advertising
We love to communicate with our users and so, depending on your marketing preferences, we may use your personal information to send you marketing, including by email, SMS or post. Some of these messages may be tailored to you, based on your previous use of our sites.
If you no longer want to receive marketing communications from us (or would like to opt back in), you can change your preferences at any time by contacting customercare@rightcharge.co.uk or clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ link in any email.
If you unsubscribe from marketing, please note we will still contact you with service messages from time to time.
You may also see adverts for our sites on third party websites, including on social media. These ads may be tailored to you using cookies (which track your web activity, so enable us to serve ads to users who have visited our sites) and/or similar technologies. Where you see an ad on third party websites or social media, this may be because we have engaged the third party or social network to show ads to our users, or others who match the demographic profile of our users. In some cases, this may involve sharing your email address with the third party or social network so that they can identify you as one of our users. If you no longer want to see tailored ads you can change your cookie and privacy settings on your browser and these third party websites.
Who do we share this personal information with?
We share users’ personal information with third parties in the following circumstances:
With Service Providers, to pass on your interest in the products that they provide;
With EFC Customers in relation to their contract for Electric Fuel Card;
With our professional and legal advisors;
With third parties engaged in fraud prevention and detection;
With law enforcement or other governmental authorities, in response to a lawful request or court order;
In the event that we are involved in a merger or sale of any business assets, the personal information of our users may be disclosed to a potential buyer. In this event, we will make reasonable attempts to ensure the buyer will be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy;
Otherwise where we have your consent or are otherwise legally permitted to do so.
We also disclose aggregate data, which does not identify any user personally, including to third parties working in media, consumer research and the car industry (for example, as analysis of popular cars in a given year).
Storage and Deletion
Our sites are hosted by AWS. Your personal data is stored in the UK and Ireland
If we transfer personal information outside the UK or European Economic Area we will, as required by applicable law, ensure that your privacy rights are adequately protected by appropriate safeguards. Please contact us if you would like more information about these safeguards.
Your account details are kept by us for 6 years after your account is terminated.
If you are an unsuccessful applicant for a job with us we will hold your details for no longer than 6 months after the position for which you applied is filled.
If you work for a Service Provider or EFC Customer we will hold your personal information for as long as we have a contract with the relevant Service Provider or EFC Customer and six years thereafter.
Users under 18
Our sites is not intended for, and should not be used by, anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18.
Cookies
Our sites use cookies and similar technologies to provide certain functionality to the sites, to understand and measure its performance, and to deliver targeted advertising. Please see our Cookie Policy here for further information about the cookies we use and how to amend your cookie settings.
Your rights
You have following rights in respect of your personal information:

Please note that if you withdraw your consent to further processing that does not affect any processing done prior to the withdrawal of that consent, or which is done according to another legal basis.

Rightcharge Dictionary
‘EFC Customer’ means a company or other organisation which has signed up to Electric Fuel Card;
‘Electric Fuel Card’ means our one stop programme for home and public charging of electric vehicles;
‘Final Price’ is the price provided by the Service Provider for an Install of a Product, minus any Promotion applied;
‘Installation’, ‘Install’, ‘Installed’ means the installation Service (and supply of) a Product by a Service Provider and all complementary associated activities, including the supply of the Product, arranging an installation date and completing all associated paperwork required;
‘Payment Platform’ means a third-party payment processing platform with which Rightcharge has an account which may include, but is not limited to that offered by www.Stripe.com;
‘Platform’ means the website and associated email communications we send, which enables you to compare Products, get a Quotation for a Product(s) Installed by Service Providers, receive additional communication regarding your Installation from your Service Providers and get access to the Payment Platform;
‘Product’ means the EV charge point that Service Providers Install;
‘Promotion’, ’Promotions’ means a benefit that you are promised. In most cases, promotions will be cashback, or a discount code of some kind.
‘Quotation’ means the document provided by the Service Provider which details the Quotation Price;
‘Quotation Price’ means the price detailed on the Quotation that outlines the total price for the Installation;
‘Service Provider’ means the party who Installs the Product;
